SPRINGDALE, Arkansas – Ozark Guidance hosted a dedication ceremony on Wednesday, October 16 at 2:00p.m.at their Springdale Campus (2400 South 48th Street) to officially open the recently completed children’s Outdoor Discovery Center.

Thousands of children and teens benefit from our programs, and playtime serves as a vital part of the therapeutic process. The Outdoor Discovery Center merges the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of a child by taking the classroom experience outside-it’s a safe environment for kids to play, interact, build confidence, and learn in different ways.

Donors expected to attend and their named gifts include the Black Hills Energy Arkansas Walking Trail, the Schmieding Foundation Basketball Court, the Willard & Pat Walker Charitable Foundation Pavilion, and the Buddy Wray Family Buddy Bench.

Ozark Guidance is the local, nonprofit behavioral health care center serving eight counties in northwest and north-central Arkansas with offices in Bentonville, Berryville, Fayetteville, Harrison, Huntsville, Mountain Home, Siloam Springs, and Springdale.  For more information, visit www.ozarkguidance.org.
