Last month Arisa Health affiliate Ozark Guidance announced that the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) had awarded Ozark Guidance a $4,000,000 expansion grant.  This grant will be used to develop a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) program over the next two years with funds to be used specifically for outreach and new service availability for underserved communities such as the Latinx and Marshallese populations in Northwest Arkansas.

Today Ozark Guidance announced that Blaine Hubbard, LMFT-S, LPC-S, will act as Director of CCBHC Services for the duration of the program. Blaine has been a behavioral health professional for 19 years and currently serves as the Ozark Guidance Siloam Springs Outpatient and School Based Program Coordinator. Blaine’s years of experience with program development, implementation, and coordination will be an asset to this role.

Hubbard says of his appointment, “I am very happy to have the opportunity to take part in the development of a program designed to enhance access to excellent behavioral, physical, and mental health care.  With this program, we hope to provide people in our community with access to supportive care right where they live that is designed to meet the immediate and long term needs of those we serve.”
