For those individuals who have avoided or not responded well to traditional mental health care or psychiatric rehabilitation services, Ozark Guidance offers a comprehensive Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. In this program clients receive intensive case management and medication management, usually at their home or at the drop-in center, to decrease the instance or need for psychiatric hospitalization. Persons served by ACT often have co-existing problems such as homelessness, substance abuse problems, or involvement with the judicial system. ACT services are available to clients 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
