About Ozark Guidance Children’s Summer Programming

Ozark Guidance annually provides opportunities for children and adolescents receiving therapeutic services to participate in summer programming for ten weeks during their regular school breaks. Each child typically attends anywhere from one to five days per week for three to seven hours per day. The children engage in individual therapy, paraprofessional interventions, and a variety of enrichment activities for social, communication, and conflict resolution skill development.

Therapeutic summer programs are designed for children, kindergarten through high school, who are faced with emotional and/or behavioral problems that have limited their success in school. Ozark Guidance supports nearly 3,000 children annually in our summer programs throughout northwest Arkansas in Benton, Washington, Carroll, and Madison Counties.
