What is Ozark Guidance?

Ozark Guidance is a private local, Joint Commission accredited, non-profit community mental health center.  We are committed to meeting the needs of the individual, family, and community for better mental health in Northwest Arkansas.  Since 1970, Ozark Guidance has helped tens of thousands of children, adults, and families in Washington, Benton, Madison, and Carroll Counties live better lives by providing high quality, affordable mental healthcare services. 

At Ozark Guidance, we give people the tools they need and guide them to success.  Through a variety of treatments including individual counseling, education, and rehabilitation, we equip people with coping skills to overcome their obstacles—whether they are biological obstacles or obstacles that are due to one’s environment and situation.

Who receives service from Ozark Guidance?

Ozark Guidance serves people of all ages from all walks of life.  From those dealing with everyday stresses to those diagnosed with chronic, persistent mental disorders such as bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, to those experiencing an acute episode or are in crisis.  We serve Washington, Benton, Madison, and Carroll Counties in Northwest Arkansas.

Who provides treatment at Ozark Guidance?

Ozark Guidance has a multi-disciplinary team of mental health providers devoted to helping others by providing treatment options that are most suited to the client’s needs.  This team includes psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, counselors, therapists, social workers, and paraprofessionals.

How do I pay for services?

Ozark Guidance can bill private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare.  For those without adequate insurance or other means to pay we offer a sliding fee scale.  Ozark Guidance is a not-for-profit organization.  We believe people from all walks of life should be able to receive quality mental health services.
