"I am very proud to be a member of the Ozark Guidance Board of Directors because I believe that Ozark Guidance is one of the finest nonprofit organizations in Northwest Arkansas. Our mission is saving and changing lives by providing quality, compassionate mental health services for all Northwest Arkansas resident; I believe that the center's well qualified, dedicated staff breathe life into the mission every day. Most people do not realize that mental illness is more prevalent than cancer, heart disease and diabetes and effects 20% of all children and 25% of the adult population. Ozark Guidance has sustained 40 years of providing mental health services in Northwest Arkansas because of the quality of our services, the support we enjoy from the community, and because our services a affordable and accessible. Chairperson, Ozark Guidance
Founded in 1970, Ozark Guidance has a volunteer Governing Board of Directors that is responsible for the overall direction of Ozark Guidance with Tom Petrizzo as President and CEO. The Governing Board is made up of area leaders representing the Ozark Guidance service area of Washington, Benton, Madison, and Carroll Counties.
